ROBERTSON QUAY CONDO, SINGAPORE

The Client: a British expat businessman with an affinity for James Bond

The Brief: a full service design project covering the living area, pool-side terrace and master bedroom, incorporating some existing furniture and accessories

The Budget ($-$$$$): $$

The Inspiration: a masculine, contemporary scheme, incorporating his stunning collection of accessories from around the world; natural finishes – reclaimed teak to hammered iron – to balance the modern lines of the existing furniture; a new framed Bond poster to partner his existing signed vintage piece; a simple master bedroom

The Verdict: ‘Elly helped me redesign my new apartment, taking it from a generic Ikea showhouse to a home I’m now really proud of and excited to come home to. Elly was great to work with from start to finish – a very easy going manner throughout and some very thoughtful and considered ideas and suggestions for my home. She did a great job of respecting my preferences but utilising her expertise, and she wasn’t against taking on my feedback. Thank you very much Elly!’
