MEYER ROAD CONDO, SINGAPORE

The Client: a young family of three from Dubai

The Brief: an e-design project covering a rental condo open-plan living space and terrace, incorporating various pieces of existing furniture and accessories

The Budget ($-$$$$): $$

The Inspiration: a light-hearted and toddler-friendly scheme, with liberal use of whites/neutrals and pops of blues and pinks to lighten up existing wooden furniture and to complement the rental unit’s wall treatments and lighting fixtures; depth created with ethnic Peruvian frazadas and Malian mudcloth; a fun and modern terrace

The Verdict: ‘I came across Elly’s work on Facebook and immediately loved her style. The e-design concept was great as it suited our budget and needs and Elly gave us some great suggestions to spruce up the place. Elly was very patient and easy to work with and was very quick to respond to any of our queries. The best part was that she would give recommendations based on the budget and never pushed for something that we were not sure of.’
